This herbal blend is designed for good sleep, lucid dreaming, also known as sacred dreaming. Whether you are like me and have been a vivid dreamer your entire life, or are an “average” dreamer who occasionally shows up to lectures wearing no pants, you will find this blend helpful in turning up the volume on your nightly travels. I typically consume dream blends an hour before sleep, being careful not to consume it too close to the actual moment of sleep.

Blue Lotus Flower is famous for its ability to affect the mind. It’s like a microdose (even affecting the same receptors in the brain), a sedative, and stimulant, and an aphrodisiac all in one. It was famous throughout Egyptian culture but also has been revered by other cultures as well. The current research supports it having bioavailable compounds that affect our mind, our body, mood, and our dreams. It is one of my favorite flowers and aids me in all of my visions and dreams. Try it with meditation sometime! (or even at a small party).
In European folklore, Mugwort was said to protect against fatigue, injury, and even poisons. The Romans were said to put a sprig of Mugwort in their shoes to avoid tiring. It is also mentioned in the Nine Herbs Charm which is a 10th-century English writing about beneficial herbs. It has even been associated with St. John the Baptist, and wreaths of Mugwort were worn to repel evil spirits. Mugwort is commonly ingested, smoked, and even applied to the skin in a poultice. A famous smoking herb, it was used as a poor man’s substitute for expensive tobacco, and was nicknamed “sailor’s tobacco.” Mugwort contains the chemical thujone, which is a mild intoxicant. Thujone is found in wormwood, and is thought to be responsible for both of the herbs visionary qualities.
Damiana is also considered a powerful aphrodisiac, and a mood-lifting, dream enhancing herb. It is mainly sought after to increase one’s vision in the realm of physical love, but aids in other inward work as well.
Catnip is a powerful sedative like chamomile and lavender to humans (but a stimulant to cats) and has actually been a famous evening tea at least in Europe for centuries.
Chamomile is soothing, relaxing, and a bona-fide herbal sedative that acts on our benzodiazepine receptors in the brain. It’s aroma and taste are also exceptionally pleasant.
Lavender is similar to chamomile in its ability to act on benzodiazepine receptors. It is also known as a powerful phyto-estrogen, anxiety reducing, and good sleep inducing flower that has been deservedly one of the most famous flowers in all of history.
Wild lettuce is considered a sedative and potent pain reliever. It is prepared in many different ways depending on the intent, and is commonly smoked, used in tinctures, and teas.
