A . SHIPPING  POLICIES

PROCESSING TIME

  • Skincare:


All of our Skincare Products are hand made.

Orders will be ready for shipment in 2 - 4 working days from the date of the payment.

 

  • Beads and Accessories:


Please keep in mind that our Beads and Accessories are all hand made and custom ordered.

Please allow a one week (1 - 7 working days) handling time after receipt of cleared payment for beads/accessories to be made.

 

  • Chocolates and Cocoa Products:


Orders will be shipped out in 1 - 2 working days from the date of the payment.

 

  • Fonio, Granola, Snacks and Other Food Items:


Orders will be shipped out in 1 - 3 working days from the date of the payment.

 

  • Fabrics (Laces , Batik / Tie-dye, Smock/Fugu, Kente):


Orders will be shipped out in 2 - 4 working days from the date of the payment.

 

  • Tailored Outfits / Dresses / Kaftans:


Please keep in mind that our Tailored Outfits/Dresses/Kaftans are all custom ordered. We will need your measurements.

Please allow a one week (1 - 7 working days) handling time after receipt of cleared payment for tailored outfits/dresses/kaftans to be made.

 

Please Note:

▪  Items will not be shipped until payments are made.

▪  After orders are shipped, tracking details; including pictures of the receipt, post box with custom identification and accepted stamps on it will be sent to you through Email or WhatsApp.

 

SHIPPING

All orders are sent via air mail through

🔸 The Ghana Post Office (Registered Mail / USPS): This is the automated delivery service we use.

If you need your package early or within a certain time frame please select Express Mail Service (EMS) or DHL Express Delivery at an additional fee.

Shipping Duration of Ghana Post:

United States of America - takes 2 to 4 weeks or less to deliver.

There maybe some delays due to various factors, such as customs, weather, holiday, and distance.

Please note that we are not responsible for delay by the Border Service Agency during Customs Review of your package.

 

🔸 Express Mail Service (EMS):

EMS shipping takes 7 - 10 working days to deliver worldwide. Sometimes it takes more than 7 working days to deliver depending on delay by custom.

 

🔸 DHL Express Delivery:

DHL Express Delivery takes 3 to 5 working days to deliver worldwide. Occasionally, it takes more than 5 working days to deliver depending on delay by custom.

NOTICE: You may incur import taxes and duty on your international order. Please note these additional costs are your responsibility as payment of such taxes are necessary for your parcel to be delivered. Therefore we strongly recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.

 

* * Please note these dates (delivery duration) are a guide, sometimes your parcel may experience customs delay. Unfortunately, TEIKOROOTSOFAFRICAS have no control over these delays but are happy to help where we can.

 

CANCELLATIONS:

Orders cannot be cancelled after purchase.

But please contact us if you have any problems with your order.

Please note that USPS does not update tracking status anymore for parcel with less than 2 kg weight. (4,4 lb)

However, we will still update you as we will call Ghana Post to check for us on through Universal Postal Union.

Please note that we take pride in following up on all shipped packages. Our customers applauded us on such diligence. Thence, except to receive updates on your packages mid transit.

 

ADDRESS / CONTACT INFORMATION

All packages are sent to the address given to us by our customers.

Kindly provide correct address and mobile number when you purchase, we cannot be responsible for lost or delay if you provide a wrong address.

In a situation where you were not available during delivery, although we are not responsible at that point, we will still send you an urgent Email or an alert through WhatsApp.

You should do well to pickup from the pickup location or arrange for a redelivery (reschedule delivery) to your address.

If you fail to do so and the package is returned to us due to your absence, note that the initial (previous) shipping cost of items upon delivery is NON-REFUNDABLE.

You will have to pay for the shipping fee for us to resend the package.

We ask you to do your best to track the shipping process of your items.

 

B . RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

Please see the return policy outlined below:

▪  Due to the nature of the products, to be eligible for a return - items must be sealed, unused, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be a regular priced item.

 

NOTICE: We only offer returns on regular priced items. Items on sale cannot be returned or exchanged.

 

▪  You have 14 days from the date of delivery to make a return for full refund. After 15 days, all sales are FINAL and returns will not be accepted.

 

ALL RETURNS WILL HAVE TO BE MADE WITH THE CARRIER USED TO SHIP THE ITEMS TO YOU, TO ENSURE RECEPTION BACK TO US IN KUMASI, GHANA. 

If you choose to ship via another carrier, any additional cost to retrieve the item(s) on our hand such as taxes will be deducted off your refund.

 

There are certain situations where only a credit note or partial refunds are given: (if applicable)

  •  Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to ours.


 

When returning your item(s), you are responsible for paying for your own shipping cost. Original shipping cost is non-refundable.

 

Also note that shipping cost of items returned to us due to your absence upon delivery is non-refundable.

 

We ask you to do your best to track the shipping process of your items.

 

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED:

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept returns for:

 ▪  Custom or personalized orders 

 ▪  Perishable products (like food or flowers)

 ▪  Digital downloads 

 ▪  Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

 

REFUND: We offer a refund upon returns of item(s) and after review on them.

Your returned item will be inspected once it is received. We will notify you of our approval or rejection of your refund.

 

Your refund will be processed through your original payment method once your refund notice is approved within 5 working days.

 

Where there is an exchange, you will be contacted to discuss your exchange options.

 

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS:

If you haven’t received a refund yet (after 5 days from notice of approval) Kindly check your bank account again

 

Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
