Welcome to companion planting! The Three Sisters are an ancient technique for making the most out of little space. Most gardens are 2D, with 3Sisters, you now gain vertical as well.
Corn grows tall, Squash provides cover for the soil and protects young or small plants while also trapping moisture allowing for less water use; Beans or Peas, climbing ones especially, thrive in that micro environment’ and return nitrogen to the soil while using the corn as a trellis.
This system is nearly foolproof to make much more yield than a standard plot, and with little effort. Spacing on corn, about a hand apart, and for every corn seed, plant a bean or two. Then plant your squash seeds about every square foot.
You’ve now got the most important lesson of Native American farming down!
Congrats.

Looks great! My home is decorated in a Conservatory theme, but I do not have the lighting to grow a huge beautiful tree like this indoors
