The Sudan Gum
Arabic tree is a small, deciduous thorn tree that is native to Africa and Asia.
It is the main source of high quality gum arabic, a plant resin that is used in
foods, crafts and as a cosmetic. A. Senegal grows on rocky hills and in savannas.
It has a broad, umbrella-shaped canopy and feathery, compound leaves. Leaves
