This turnip is very tasty, even when eaten raw. Very drought tolerant, hardy and frost tolerant,. Harvest when very small for pure white globes and mild sweet flavor, good for cooking greens, roasting and salads. When grown in hot, arid conditions the root will be a little tougher and spicy, and sweeter in moist cold. Greens are delicious when cooked up with collards or kale for nutritious side dish.
