a perennial grass that has long, light green leaves. The leaves and stems have
a lemon scent and are used in Asian cuisine. Leaves are up to 3 feet long. Grows
36-60 inches tall. It is a tropical perennial and is grown as an annual in temperate
regions. Native to India. Hardy in zones 8-11.

Lemon grass likes
moist soil and full sun. 1. Sow the
seeds on the surface of the soil and press gently into the soil. 2. Cover the
seeds lightly with peat moss. 3. The seedlings can be transplanted when they
are a few inches tall.
