Blue Passion Flower Germination:
1) Scarify them by rubbing with sandpaper.
2) Soak them for one to two days in warm water. Change water daily.
3) Use a heated propagator. The seeds need heat to sprout. Ideally the temperature during the night should be 68 degrees Fahrenheit, and the daytime temperature should be 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Keeping the temperature a constant 79 degrees Fahrenheit works well too.
4) Place the well-soaked seeds on the surface of damp potting mix, pat down, but Do Not Cover since they Need Light to germinate.
5) Seeds heated with a propagator to the proper temperature, some seeds will sprout within 2 weeks, while most others may take up to 10 weeks,…so a bit of patience will be required as with any Exotic or Tropical seeds.
