Hardy in zones 4-7. Bristlecone pines in the great basin are said to be the longest living sexually producing natural species on earth. Many use it for Bonsai. Should one ever wish to cut into such a natural work of art, bristlecone pine will make for excellent firewood and fence postings. Personally, I would take to the idea of using it as a furniture artwork piece or decor accent.
Germination Procedure: Soak seeds in water for 24 hours to speed up germination. Sow seeds on soil surface and gently press. Keep seeds and soil moist during the germination phase (about 20 days).
