Germination Procedure: Seeds require sunlight to germinate. They also must be put through the seasons (cold, warm, cold treatment) to break their dormancy. Likewise, unless planting near a wetland by gently pressing seeds into the mud or boggy soil and waiting; you will need to apply cold stratification, warm stratification and cold stratification once again to simulate the changing seasons, break their dormancy and thus pre-plan their germination time.
